What does functional fitness mean?
Functional fitness is a style of training meant to prepare your body for movements that you perform in everyday life, by mimicking those same patterns in the gym. “It trains your muscles to work together and prepares them for daily tasks by simulating common movements you might do at home, at work, or in sports.” – Mayo Clinic.
